The Association of International Schools of India was initiated by Heads of a few International Schools in Bangalore during the year 2005. It has now been registered with the Registrar of Societies, Bangalore Urban district, Bangalore. The Association is a non-profit, autonomous body.
It is dedicated to the advancement of internationalism through education by the distribution of services to its members including, but not necessarily limited to, the professional development of teachers and administrators in partnership with the students they serve.
TAISI also seeks to promote intercultural understanding and international friendship through the activities of its members; Development of regular, on-going, in-service opportunities for administrators, teachers and students within the region.
It also cooperates and collaborates with other non-member organizations and individuals in the region pursuing similar objectives.
